UPI payment screenshots are not proof

A buyer-sent PhonePe, Google Pay, or Paytm success screen can be edited or generated. The only confirmation of receipt is a credit in your UPI or bank app for the correct amount and UTR.

  1. Do not ship or release goods on a screenshot alone.
  2. Open your own app and find the credit entry.
  3. Match amount, UPI ID, and UTR/RRN.
  4. If disputed, preserve chat + screenshot and report via official channels (1930 / cybercrime.gov.in in India).
